ERCIM/W3C workshop hosted by CWI
We are excited to have a working prototype reference system and we are working on integrating VRE4EIC system components into the e-Research Infrastructures, EPOS and ENVRIplus. A real advance has been made in integrating workflow into VRE4EIC. Read the newsletter
VRE4EIC will hold a workshop on Evaluation of Virtual Research Environment Architectures co-located with the 10th International Workshop on Science Gateways (IWSG18) on the 15th June, 2018 in Edinburgh.
On April 24, VRE4EIC will be featured at the Open Education Global Conference in Delft. Anneke Zuiderwijk will present the paper entitled “Open Science, Open Government and Open Data: creating an impact through open online education and Virtual Research Environments”
Join VRE4EIC at the Reproducibility workshop organised by the National Physical Laboratory in Teddington, UK 1-3 May,2018. VRE4EIC Scientific coordinator, Keith Jeffery will participate in a discussion panel to talk about metadata (i.e. CERIF* used in VRE4EIC) and its use for data quality.
VRE4EIC will be presented at the 8th International Conference on Information Society and Technology (ICIST), the largest computer science in Serbia. Do not miss the chance to listen to Dr Dragan Ivanović during his workshop on Virtual Research Environment on Monday, March 12.
Three "Building Blocks", i.e. components for eVRE have been released: Node service, Metadata service, and AAAI service. The services, as part of the technical architecture, interoperate by design can be included in any other architecture. For more information see "VRE4EIC software".
W3C Dataset Exchange Working group has just released the first version of their Use Cases and Requirements
